Music Monday: Holly Williams

I’m back from a much needed week of vacation with some of my favorite people in the entire world (my family). It was great to have so many generations of my family in one place for a week. In the hustle and bustle of daily life it’s important to take time to remember where you came from and what really matters.

One of my favorite singer/songwriter’s hails from a family rich in musical history. Holly Williams is the daughter of Hank Williams, Jr. and the granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. She is carrying on the “family tradition” of making great music and her voice is amazing (in my humble opinion).

Here is Holly’s song “Drinkin” from her album The Highway.  Enjoy!

Love your music posts…the past two weeks have been personal favorites of mine. And then this one, I heard several times on Sirius during our road trip to CT this past week. It’s such a neat song!
